Elias Cash is wearing a tuxedo and carrying a corsage as he arrives to pick up his prom date, Tracy. However, the door is answered by Tracy’s parent, Kiki D’Aire. When Elias explains that he’s here to pick up Tracy for prom, Kiki looks at him with a mixture of sympathy and slight pity, then gently informs him that Tracy has already left for prom with someone else.
