A young acting couple is rehearsing for an upcoming theater performance when a badly aimed shoe accidentally hits a wealthy stranger passing by. Their awkward encounter quickly becomes an unexpected opportunity: fascinated by theater, he offers them €600 for a private performance at his apartment, promising even more if their acting is convincing enough. The script seems straightforward — she plays an aristocratic woman promised to a wealthy lord.
